Hey There
Welcome! I specialize in helping individuals and couples navigate relational challenges. Relationships are the air we breathe. Our mind is relational. Relationships with others shape who we are, influence how we see ourselves, and impact our daily lives in profound ways. When our relationships—whether with others or even ourselves—are strained, we don't fully live, we cope. That sense of “coping” can keep us stuck in patterns that reinforce anxiety and depression, nervous system can stay in a constant state of vigilance, feeding feelings of worry, sadness, or even hopelessness. It’s as if the relationships, which ideally would be sources of connection and comfort, become stressors instead.
I bring a lot of compassion and kindness, and I help client explore what gets in the way of being and feeling the way the want, creating a space for exploring emotions and patterns that impact relationships, with ourselves and others. Whether you’re facing communication issues, emotional disconnection, or seeking personal growth, I’m here to support you.
About Me
I have lived, studied and worked in various parts of the world. My experience of exploring new countries and cultures enchaned my appreciation for diverse viewpoints and I bring it into my psychotherapy practice. I am also a no stranger to starting anew - I moved my whole life twice across the world and have learned in a very experiential way the significant role that healthy relationships—with oneself, family/partner, and the broader world—play in our well-being. When these relationships are not healthy, we cope the best we can by a handful of avaliable strategies but those are short-termed solutions that often do not lead us anywhere. I focus on relationships in my work, because I beleive it is where it all starts. Whatever it is that may be going on in our life or the outside world will be colored by our internal dynamics and I would be happy to explore those dynamics together. Let's connect!
